Smoke or steam coming from A/C vents..
Ok so it was raining really hard all day yesterday, and my car just sat in the rain. When it finally stopped i took my car out and as soon as i give it a little gas to get on the highway smoke or steam or some sort of vapor comes pouring out of my A/C vents.
So i pull over check to make sure there is no fire or anything, but the weird thing is the smoke was completely odorless.
So i make i turn my A/C off and drive to the gym, when i get back i turn the A/C on and its fine..
Well a couple of hours later on my way home i smell burning plastic, so i turn the A/C off and pull over and the smell goes away.
any ideas??

Burning Plastic smell later on in the night.

The vapor is exactly that, water vapor. After a rain storm the humidity is high, when cold air mixes with hot humid air it hits the dew point. Thats where the water wants to seperate from the air.

Something burning in the a/c fan motor? water collected around the fan motor and turned to steam early on. As motor got hotter something else got burnt causing the smell. Thats my 2 cents.
