799 heads?
2. ls6 valves came with some 243's, also 799's were cast in a dif location. other than that nothing really.
3. yes, i gained 23 rwhp just by adding stock 799's.
4. my advice is have a custom cam spec'd for your needs, and have a local shop pp and mill the heads. i recommend EPS cams. this is what i'm going to replace my 224r with. if you do this you would be hard pressed to make less than 430 rwhp. not to mention you can retain daily driveability by consulting a pro on your cam choice.
Decent price if they are complete and in great shape, pass on them if they are not complete or have issues.
I got a set for $250 shipped with a mildy dinged chamber (they had already been run on another engine than the one that caused the damage without any issues). I'm going to do a mild port job myself and have them milled before they go on.
I paid 425 for a set of stock, hardly used 799s from See5 on here, and ive already got em milled. My cam will be here in a couple days.
