4L60e corvette servo?
Just pulled the transmission out of my 97 z28 on friday, its a gu5 code car. Just wondering if camaro's came with corvette servo's from the factory? Some people have said yes and others have said no some i'm confused. While I have it out i'm debating whether or not I want to do any upgrades with it and if i do a corvette servo is something i'm interested in if it doesn't have one already. Thanks. -Kyle

Compare your servo to pictures of the Corvette servo to verify what you have.
Most rebuild kits come with a new return spring for the servo as the spring can weaken over time and cause 2nd gear not to disengage fast enough while 3rd is engaging. Or perhaps the newer springs are stiffer. I'm no trans expert - just repeating the rebuild kit's info.
