Magnaflow glasspack vs dynomax race bullet
I was wondering if I could get some feedback on these two ? I had flowmaster 40 series on my 68 truck with a 5.3 with stock manifolds and true duals and I switched to magnaflow turbo style mufflers and they are just too quiet for my liking. I haven't heard either of these two in person and was wondering what the opinions were. Thanks in advance.

I've had both on my old WS6. The Magnaflow sounded more "refined". Here's the car with the Dynomax bullet-
And here's with the Magnaflow bullet, I'm not sure if you can tell any difference just by these two video's but in actual person and everyday driving the Magnaflow sounded a lot better-

I know this is old, but are you guys referring to the actual magnaflow glasspack as the "bullet" or are you referring to the magnaflow round mufflers. I imagine there is a difference in sound between the two. I would think the magnaflow will sound better then the dynomax also.

lol, can't go wrong with that either. Right now I have straight pipes off twin turbos, but I am going to be redoing it all. I am not going to be driving it for a long time anyway so I have plenty of time to research. But there aren't many turbo references under the axle.

Those two mufflers I listed will sound very similar, as far as how loud they are and tone.
The difference will be mainly from amount and type of packing material used in them. IMO, the Borla does use a better quality(longer lasting) packing material than the Magnaflow does, but the Magnaflow case construction does seem better than the Borla to me.

The standard bullets by Magnaflow and dynomax are identical. Meaning they are probably made by the same company except Magnaflow are about $40 more expensive.
