Default From Old To New Will It Work?

i have a 94 trans am lt1 350
my friend owns a 2000 Firebird V6
he is buying my engine from me and wants to put it in his car.
will the k member off of the 94 trans am fit it anyway on the 2000 firebird?
some things need to be altered i presume, if not where can i get one to work with this swap?

The k-member will bolt right up. I would recomend going ahead and getting an aftermarket one, but both are interchangable. Only difference is the motor mounts.

yeah eventually we will do that but we are lookin to jus put in right now an upgrade that later. so because the mounts on my k member already have the engine mounted to it i can just drop k member with engine an bolt it straight to the 2000 firebird?

Yeah

The 6 bolts that hold the k-member to the car are the exact same location on both.

I used to work for a place that made aftermarket k-members. The 93-97 and 98-02 both used the same jig to build, you just put a different motor mount jig on them.
