Default Blend Night Shade???

I know there has been many threads about night shading but i think this is the first one concerning this. I was wondering who has staged there levels of nightshade?

If i put 4 coats on the back lights at the top and then have it blend to 1 coat on the bottom. How would i go about blending it like that?

My thought was to coat the light with 4 coats and then sand it to get that blend look but i am worried that it will not look uniformed, to much sanding in one spot and not enough in another.

Looking for your opinions

Thanks

I would do it a different way. I would start by doing one coat on the whole light. Then on the next coat just start at the top and stop 3/4 of the way. Next coat stop half way. Last coat would just be on the very top. Where you stop it may be a little dry looking, but you should be able to take care of that. Let the lights dry a long while, and lightly wetsand and clearcoat them.

I'm interested to see if this works. I'm thinking it may just look like parts of the lights are going dead.
