I just bought an ss spoiler for my z28 convertible. I was so excited that I put it on and hooked it up. Looked good except not all of the LED lights came on. Is the unit bad? Do I need another one? I have also heard about a resistor being needed, If that is the case could somebody tell me where to get one and how to hook it up. I looked up how much third brake light units cost, and GOOD GOD 200 dollars from year one and 130 dollars from another internet place.

Did you buy the spoiler new or used? I thought you could just splice the wires and your done?

sounds like it's bad. From what I understand short of buying a new one, there's not much you can do.

This is just to let people know, I just ordered a 3rd brake light for my camaro ss spoiler on ebay for about 60 dollars with free shipping. It is new, looks really nice, and is by far the best deal I have found, It looks like he is selling more of them, I will tell people about the fit when I get it.

Got my third brake light in the mail and it is clean and was a perfect fit. Hooked it up and everything went well. beats payin 150 plus 30 shipping from gmd.
