I FINALLY got the CME tips made that SO MANY of you wanted (stainless steel but with a factory style lip without the ugly cast look). My cost to add the lips (that are laser cut, hand tig welded, polished, etc...) is $75 for the pair so on top of the $350 normal price it would be $425...

...eventually I am told I can get it down to $50 so it will only be $400 for you guys. HOWEVER, since I want some out there on cars to get pics of I am offering FIVE SETS of CME Tips WITH the new LIPS for ONLY $350 (price of normal tips with no lip).

So you know what I am talking about, here's a (non CME) set with no lip:

I already have a thread in here showing my new tips and plan to delete this thread before the weekend is over (assuming I sold the 5 sets I am offering) but wanted to draw attention to the other thread in the section that is the reason I got the lips made in the first place...

Yeah, and to be honest, some of the BEST SOUNDING F-Bodies I have ever heard are running LM's with CME.

If you like that throaty Mustang sound then you will like it. I think it is because the LM is BEFORE the axle (like a Mustang's muffler) and then with the extra CME piping there is just more pipes to smooth out the note...

It sounds so good on my friend's cars I am actually taking off my $800 worth of 4" Mufflex and Flowsmater Y to make a Dual Exhaust with LM's, H-Pipe and CME just to see if it will sound even more like a nice Stang

for some reason when you said lips i thought you ment lip like as in valence. i had an on **** moment but then i realized you were just talking lips on the tips themselves

You should come hang out with us at Bob's Big Boy in Burbank sometime (assuming you're near LA) you'd be in good company as two of my good friends have the same exhaust and I agree it sounds AMAZING!
