I installed my Eurolamp housings today. I opted to buy the housings only and get the Phillips Xtreme Power bulbs (+80%) to install in them. After receiving the housings just to play it safe I siliconed the outer edges of the rear bulb receiver. I installed the bulbs and also siliconed around the edges of the bulb. Since the plate is metal it can be cleaned if a bulb change is neccessary. After wire crimping on a set of adapters for the H7 housings I installed everything up. I plugged the battery back in and checked things out. Definitely an improvement in lighting. The low beams look to be as bright as the stock high beams now. I'll have to take it for a drive in the dark to see just how much of an improvement I've really made.

TA, I'm probably gonna stay away from HID's in the headlights. The Phillips Xtreme plus are rated at 1500 lumens. The stock bulbs are probably around 900 lumens.

UPDATE, I finally got a chance to take the TA out for some night driving. The Eurolamps housings with the Phillips Xtreme power bulbs make a great combo. They are about twice as bright as the stock 4703 sealed beams and throw the light about twice as far. The beam pattern looks pretty good as well. Two thumbs up.
