ram air hood water issue ?
ok i have a functional ram air hood on my 05 silverado that i bought for looks but i run a turbo so i dont need the ram air so i just let it push air into the engine bay figured it would help cool things down a bit. i have noticed that when i drive in the rain the hood pushes the water into the engine bay as well. and the hood retains alot of water in the ram air tunnel workings. will this hurt the electical side of the engine if i run it like this

Dont know if this will help much as it isnt very tech savy but I run a ram air hood on my 99 bird. I took the vent grills out and it lets everything in.
As far as will the rain hurt anything seems like a toss up. if it gets down into the plugs or sits in it too long maybe a short or something I really am not sure. Its a bit different then just washing the engine bay. but the warmth from the motor after driving should help to dry the excess water out.
