Default NEBody put Corsa/clones on Borla

I never had a problem with the Borla tips on my LT1, that was until I saw the Corsa and corsa clone tips! Anybody ever find a way to mount them on the tunable Borla setup. Here's a pic of what I'm dealing with.

Yeah, I guess as long as they are 304 polished stainless with a rolled lip they would look better. I'm not sure if they have to be double walled or not for heat around the T/A bumper openings?
As for the way the Borla exits, it has 3" outlet to the tips on the right and two outlets on the left that look to be 2.25". I was thinking the easiest way would be to cut off each tip individually but I think it's gonna take some creativity. The hangers go up and the bottom has a welded piece holding them together that can't be seen in the pic that I linked, and it all happens right at the tips!

Just wondering if anyone tackled this yet and how they went about it?

I'd say get one of these 2.5" in/3" out merge pipes and a set of 3" inlet clones.. should do the trick> http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...id=458&pcid=54

I have corsa clones on my borla catback and didnt have any problems.. The exhuast shop had to add a pipe to make them go to a smaller diameter to fit the clones on.. But other than that I don't think he did anything else..

That's an interesting set up, my borla adjustable cat back has a single pipe on both sides. Yours must be a new design, haven't seen it before. It's going to be a little tricky to go with new tips regardless or style.
