Default No more body kit with pics!!!

Anybody thinking about taking their body kit off? Not sure? I went through the same questions but after doing it... I love it off!!!

What do you guys think about the make-over?

edit:

had a question about the holes in the quarter panel so go to post 20 and check out the pics of the filling in with bondo

the car looks great. personally i like camaros both with and without the gfx, i just hate the spoiler...it has a completely aftermarket look to it, in a bad way, like something just thrown on the car. thats why i took that off before getting the car painted. it gives it a much sleeker look

It had stock 16"s in the first pic. My guess is just the hood

Not a SS. Just a Z28 with a SS hood.

There was holes. 3 on either side. I had to fill them in along with the holes in the rocker panel and repaint. I have pics I'll post later on this thread.

I'm not a fan of body kits, either. Looks good without it.

I think you could get a SS though with the RS stuff. I remember a chief at the base I was stationed at in Lemoore had one, it would have been about two years old at that point.
That is the only time I like a LS1 car, SS/RS. Other than that it hard for me to like the way the front end looks on LS1 cars.

OP I don't think its a fair comparison, you changed a lot of stuff at once, nice car regardless.

Default pics of the holes

filled in the holes in the quarter panels with bondo and ALOT of elbow grease. Finally came out smooth...

Had to reinforce the back of the holes to prevent cracking out with some epoxy
