Default Driver Side Mirror

So my joystick driver mirror is having issues. The mirror will not go left. I see that the a wire/connection came lose from the back inside of the mirror. I can see a platic type tab on the wire end. So is that something broken or can I re-fix it to the mirror?

I see there are two bolts inside the house I can see. They are on the bottom of the mirror. The inside one...that should be interesting. The top to brace connections...those just pressed in or what? Guess I will be making a trip to the store for some more tools.

Will I be looking and needing a new mirror or Joystick kit....or both?

This is for a 2000 Z28

More than likely the tab that holds the cable is broken, so either super glue it or replace it w/ a new one.

I'm going to subscribe to this one. This just happened the other day to my Camaro.

Let me know what you find out.

OK...got the parts got the two hex screws out. Now what do I do to get that other brace free? Once I get that I am home free.
