Rear lights question...

Will the 93-96 red/white rear lights fit in a 98-2002 camaro??

one more thing..i heard from someone else that the bulb assembly is different.. anyone know if this is true or not???
i have to replace mine and i'd prefer the 93-96 but dont wanna buy them and then not be able to make em fit.

The locating tang on the socket might have to be "shaved" a little with a razor.
Then it will fit them all, I know I have them, 97-02, 93-96 ,& 93-96 exports.
