Re: chameleon paint I purchased a 98 z28 this past summer and it has chameleon paint that changes from green to blue/purple and i was wondering if this is factory paint or if its only custom paint. Also i was wondering how hard it would be for someone to match this kind of paint if i were to purchase a new hood. Thanks

Re: chameleon paint The paint is a factory color. My 95' firebird was the same color their pretty rare. I hit a dog once in my old car ( poor bastered i was going about 50 mph and he went airbore for about 20 feet , but anyway thats what he gets for running out in front of my car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> } and the paint shop I took it to was able to get the paint right from pontiac no problem. I had to get the nose cone and left fender painted and they turned out a little darker than my hood but it had been baking in the florida sun for 7 years so it was faded a little I guess. The fender and the door matched perfectly though.
