Will Camaro gfx fit on a TA?
I've mentioned before that I want to put RS gfx on my TA so that I could make side exhaust exits through them, but being all caught up in my excitement, I forgot to check to see if they'll fit. I mean, I'm sure they're the same size and all, since the two cars are alike, but the stock TA gfx are quite curvacious (that a word ) So yeah, anyone know?

not trying to talk u into it but why wouldn't it work? sideskirts are sideskirts and any reputable body shop can alter them for side exhaust ports. Just curious please explain.

by the way u can pick up a WW ta body kit on ebay for about 450-500 (front, sides, and both rear pieces).
Do u want the side exhaust to be surrounded by the body kit skirts?

yeah ur right the rs's are flatter. what kinda pipes are u gonna run out the sides?
Have u considered how boom tubes might look with the ww ta kit?
u could run the boom tubes in a slot that could be cut right along the body line on the ww ta skirts. Check out www.projecttransam.com for some nice shots of this kit. Go to the bottom of the page and check out the photo links so u can get an idea to consider.
More specifically this pic right here:

I'm thinking about pulling the gfx off my camaro this spring. I'd probably consider selling you mine. The side skirts are WW, but are pretty much the same design as RS gfx and about 1/3 the price.

boom tubes are nascar style pipes.
i still don't know where your going to run the pipes through the ground effects.
unless the RS ones are much lower than the TA ones, there is still the body in the way for the exhaust to go through. But good luck if you can do it i've always wanted to see what it would look like.

its possible with the ww ta ones. while i was back home working in the body shop over thanksgiving break there was a nasty a$$ white ws6 with the ww t/a kit, a huge *** commando wing, 2 underbody neon kits, ghetto fabulous 20's, a 3,000 pound **** stereo, painted plastic and leather, type-r floormats, flame steering wheel cover, blah blah blah.
Anyways the skirts were low enough, about 1/2 an inch or a lil more lower than the stockers. So if u took boom tubes (which are thin enough and really long) and angled them slightly upwards, it would be possible to cut a 3/4 or so inch slot in the ww t/a side skirts to feed the boom tubes up through.
Or godfobid u could just notch out the bottom of each skirt right behind each wheel and make the boom tubes flow with the skirts. The boom tubes could be welded to stick out slightly further than the skirts, possibly matching the offest of your tires. The bottom body line of the skirts would then flow right to the bottom line of the boom tubes creating a "stock" looking effect without being to outlandish.
Boom tubes are the **** if u have and questions about them talk to my good friend turninLT4 on this board.
