anybody run 17 in front, 18 in back??
I'm getting Z06 wheels and am debating on whether i should go 18 all around or 17 in front, 18 in rear. Any pros and cons of 17 in front, 18 rear??
How long will tires last if I can't rotate them??

I have had OEM Z06's for a over a year now and am almost at the point where I need new tires. If you don't have a serious drop and can afford getting 18's all around, that what I wold do.

i have 17/18's (99 vette rims)
pro's -
1.looks sharp <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
2.has a "neat" factor, somewhat
cons -
1.rotation pattern (only hurts really, if your an aggressive driver, im not)
2.ABS is "touchy"
3.to keep the speedo accurate, you have to run rubber bands out back, compared to taller-sidewalled tires up front
4.if you have taller tires in the rear, your gears are numerically lowered
5. might have to get creative, when choosing lowering springs <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
thats all i can think of, if i had the money, i would have DEFINITELY bought 18's all around, but since any work on my car is on a budget, i couldnt pass up $350 for a set of nice 17/18 vette rims <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I have the OEM Z06 setup as well. I think the stagger looks great. I wasnt worried about rotating as I almost always have DRs out back anyway. Great look! <img src="http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid41/pb16e3943b8b3827a00944e011615da98/fcf95e9b.jpg" alt=" - " />
