Default Zaino/Vinyl Stripe Install

Installing vinyl, do I have to strip Zaino off?
Searching the archives, it says to strip wax.
But, what about Zaino. Is polish a different
scenario?

I would wash the area with dawn to take it off.......the zaino will stay on the surface otherwise.....

Another website suggested in 'prep' to wash/clay bar/coat of polish to
insure surface is smooth. So, I was thinking maybe Zaino could stay on.

From the sound what you said, strip the Zaino off first then install? Hate
doing that, I am 30+ coats in at this point.

If you claybar the surface, it will be smooth. You can not expect a decal of any sort to stick to a waxed surface for very long.
