Question Battery Cover Idea, Please Help

I am making my own cover, and I would like to engrave or place a vinyl decal on it. This is what I am thinking............On the older muscle cars, they had engine numbers and information about the car on the air cleaners etc. I would like my battery cover to look something like that. Info on the engine etc. Any ideas or pictures? I thought once I saw a battery cover with this done, however, I can not find it through searching. I have a 97' LT1 by the way.

Thanks,

I picture a polished or chrome battery cover with a rectangle vinyl sticker in the middle of it.
Sticker would have to be red/ or orange/ and in silver writing show the specs of your car.

That look would probably be truest to the old Muscle car air cleaner pictures.

That picture gives me a good reference of a style, I was thinking more along the lines of the engine displacement. I think maybe I would like to design it in a "Half Moon" shape, almost like it came from the air cleaner. Thanks, keep the ideas coming.

what suck about the horsepower ratings is that with every mod done you're gonna have to keep changing the specs
