Default SLP Car cover. Good? Bad?

Just wondering who has used the SLP car cover and what you guys think of it. I live in AZ and am going to be going to Japan for a number of months and most likely the car will be outside the entire time (being fired up and driven occasionally). I just want something that will actually protect the Camaro when I am gone. Any thoughts on the SLP car cover or any others you guys recommend would be appreciated.

Heres the SLP one I am referring to specifically:

I had one and loved it. It survived North Carolina snows and windy nights, never once came off the car. I used the cable and lock that came with it only when I wasn't around for extended periods of time to keep people from stealing it. It worked and fit better than any off the shelf cover I've ever used.

mine worked great...keeps the UV rays off the interior and paint.

Bunge cords front and back and it won't come off.

Far superior to others I've owned. I've had mine since 99 and it still looks new.

I've heard that the SLP cover puts tiny scratches on the finish if used frequently. Now, take that for what it's worth, because I have never used nor do I own one. The "Noah" is what I see recommended.

I have one for mine, however the car is also stored in the garage with it on. It's a quality cover but I don't know if I would trust it for outdoor use.

As for the scratches comment that someone made. If the car is clean then you shouldn't be scratching the paint with the cover.

I just ordered an SLP cover today, the site says it has exceptional weather resistance. Guess we will find out.
