antenna base screw different size on LT1 and LS1's?? Well I bought a short 8" antenna off ebay that said it would fit on a 93 firebird...not so much. The base is much smaller than the stock one. After unscrewing the antenna off my LT1 (94) T/A - the screw is much too fat for the short one. Anyway - I thought all years were the same size...maybe mine is different...it is loose, moves around a bit...I tried to tighten up the assembly - but there's nothing to tighten, weird.
