Headlights, aftermarket and maintenance
Going to buy something other than the stock head lights, I want some HID or projector (not well educated on what I'm talking about here) something that has the LED type of look. I have a 1999 Black TA WS6. Posting a picture of the ones I'm most interested in so far (I haven't come across much)
Here's the website for it. http://www.lmperformance.com/63847/1.html
Thought process includes black on black would look good up front there
Maintenance question. Everytime my lights lower they sound like they're continuing to try lowering for approximately 5 seconds. They always go up and down with no problem at all, but this noise is EXTREMELY annoying!! Anybody else have this problem, I'm assuming it's the motor. Easiest fix? I've heard of a headlight motor rebuild kit but haven't come across any. I've seen headlight motors at $235, which sounds absolutely absurd
Suggestions on both topics would be greatly appreciated

Those are not projectors. Those are crappy blacked out housings with a hunk of glass stuck in them to fool people.
Also, check out this sticky for headlight issues including the noise you are getting:

AWESOME!
thank you very much
lol, I warned you I'm very uneducated in this area. Never messed with lights before. But for once got a car worthy of seriously taking care of and I want to do everything right.

alright thanks, do you remember where you got them and how much?
Okay I'm hoping to make this simple. After reading roughly 10 articles and threads I'm starting to get it a little more. But it's still Latin to me. I'm wanting to get HID lights in a projector headlamp. I'm reading about conversion kits and new housing. Am I able to just swap stock for an HID inside a projector headlight? What exactly will I need, and where can I find them? I want it done right so it's just lighting my way and looking good, not blinding everybody coming towards me. Somewhere between a 6000k - 8000k I'm thinking.
