Verticle line of 'grease' on inside driver window
Once the driver window is rolled up. A slight film of 'grease' appears in a verticle line about 5" back from the black triangle on the front of the door. This line is about 1/4" wide and is on the inside of the glass. Any thoughts on what is causing this and what to do to stop it? Thanks

I have the same problem. A couple months ago my door panel aquired a crack near the top by the window(WTF GM?!?!?!) and so I had to go have it replaced. After i got it back I rolled down the window and when i rolled it back up it had a line of grease running down it....Long story short, its the adhesive/gasket they use to attach the moisture guard to the door itself to keep water out of the electronics. I would take the panel off and see if the stuff is built up where your window slides across it. You should be able to spot the problem and the door isnt very hard to remove just BE CAREFUL with it so you dont break any of he plastic flanges that keep it nice and tight.

You have power windows, correct? If so, pull the panel and look at the actuator arm. You'll see a huge glob of grease on the strut closest to the window. This is what gives you that streak. The solution is to clean off that grease blob, and hose down the entire assembly with WD-40, or any low viscosity silicon lubricant. Remember to repeat this every six months or so, as needed.
