Has anyone figured out a good way of keepin these things straight??? I even had MTI reposition them for me and they still tend to move over a period of time. The clamps are tight so that is not a factor, its a matter of how they hang with that damn rubber bushing. Anybody else have this problem or know how to remedy it? It is such a shame when the best looking tips on the market won't stay stright.

What I did was get everything situated how I like it, then loosen the clamps at the muffler, and push the tips up, while still holding them, tighten the clamps at the muffler. This has worked for me, no problem.

Why not weld them? Or at least a small tack weld. Then you can be assured they wont be moving.

I agree use a small tack that can easly be taken off with a small grinding disc.

My tips are welded on, but I believe what BLKKNIGHTWS.6 is talking about is how high ar low they hang, which is what I stated above. Weld the tips on to keep people from stealing them; it's cheap insurance.

Oh, I had that problem too when I added a bullet to the I-Pipe due to the added weight. I just welded some new hangers. The weight was stretching the stock ones really bad.

i just got finished adjusting mine for the 6th time...

Im about ready to weld the pipes at the muffler. Or double clamp it, to see if that works.
