Are all valve covers equal?
Besides price...is their any other difference I should know about?
"Fitment" issues maybe? I just want a simple set I can paint for my 99TA, to cover up the wires/sensors. I see them on e-bay for like 80$, some for $150 and more.

kinda like these...the ones that just cover up the wires..not the fuel rails.

those don't "cover up the wires". The coils just haven't been put back on. Unless you relocate the coils somewhere else (under the cowl, etc...), they will sit on top of whatever valve covers you use. If you want something that you can paint and covers up the coils, you want fuel rail covers. Take a look at the right pic in PUNISHER_TA's sig 2 posts up.

I bought Ebay valve covers with the coil mounts. Installed them and as I was torquing to 106in-lbs, one bolt snapped off in my head. The gaskets they included with their hardware were torn from the torque sequence and I had to helicoil my brand new heads.
DO NOT buy the Ebay valve covers if you intend on using their hardware... it can bottom out and break off in the head!
