Just starting out 1st time detailing
I've had a couple of black trucks so i know how to be careful with that color. But i never detailed a vehicle.I bought a 98 black Z28 a couple of months ago its in not bad shape but does have light to med stuff going on.I already have and was going to use Meguiars Ultimate Compond & Ultimate Polish then NXT Generation 2.0 Wax. I also ordered 5 1/2 inch LC Orange,White & Gray CCS pads today. It has been clayed and i do have a PC7424.Does this sound like a good combo to use. What do you guys think that have been at it and have some experience. And also with some of these Meguiars products. THANKS guys for any input its much appreciated. PS it took me a week looking at all the info on the sites and calling places just to pull the plug on picking pads. Its mind boggeling on the choices.

Meguiar's and Adam's websites have great tutorial videos. Give them a shot

If you're going to do a good buff/polish, don't waste your money on nxt wax, it's a decent off the shelf wax but i'd go with souvreign liquid carnuba. Great all around wax, not as expensive as reg. souvreign. Blackfire Wet Diamond makes great stuff also, and Zaino is always a good choice..
