Default HIDs flicker in headlights, and I have a relay.

Before anyone mentions it...they are in projectors, not the stock housing.

Both bulbs will sometimes flicker really fast repeatedly when I'm driving. When I'm at idle they are just fine. Is it just me having this problem or is it common? I've had the same brand HID kit 2 other times with no problems.

I had the same problem with mine but they kinda twitched if that makes any sense but they never cut on and off, just twitched a lot going down the road but one ended up burned out so I just replaced them with the Silverstars I had laying around.

I had this problem on my tbss. The grounds on the connections had a tiny bit of rust. I cleaned them off and the problem was fixed.

Yea what you are describing is what's happening with mine. I cleaned the bulbs with alcohol prep pads so those should be fine.

I think it may be what 98Camarod mentioned, grounds aren't so good. I've got the grounds on the bolt that hold the plastic headlight brackets to the metal headlight brackets going to the frame. The grounds are only touching metal parts, but maybe the ground should be directly to the frame. It was more convenient to ground them there but I'll try another place.
