The car looks and sounds beautiful! Id go through with painting the back of the headlights after the painstaking attention to detail you have paid everywhere else. My first fbody was my brothers 93 camaro which I miss sometimes, I dont remember the color code but it was that blueish green grey color. when I turned 18 I bought a 2000 black firebird....which was totaled with 12k on the clock not my fault. which then led to me owning the blackbyrd which fell victim to the v6 to v8 swap plus converting to manual.

I feel your pain about walking past it everyday and feeling like it will never get finished. I finished mine back in 07 after 3 years...but its been down for the past 3 because of lack of time and my personal life.

That said definantly keep an eye on the thermostat and Fan operation at low speeds/stops. Mine runs constantly if im in traffic and I sometimes wonder if I shouldnt switch to a larger radiator but im still running the factory setup. I ended up putting a secondary fan control module in mine that I could control when the fans came on since mine would spike at stand stills.

congrats on getting it running

Thanks for the kind words guys. It's definitely exciting.

Not a whole lot going on as of late, I've still got some work to do on the car but it's slow going cause I just want to drive it now. Lol.
I've done a few things though.

Added some switch back leds to the front drl/ blinker since I've got the clear corners they light up white with the drl/ headlights on then blink in amber with the blinker on. Pretty neat. Still need to get some high beam bulbs of some sort.

Added a cutout to the exhaust and I'll be adding an electric unit of some sort for on the fly open/closed. Car sounds a lot meaner open.

Lol @ my daughter riding by on her bike.

thank man. Still got a few little things to do on the car before I track it. Have to get some seat belt harnesses for it and get it aligned.

Ill be enjoying it once I’ve got it on some tracks though!
