TA Door Panel Insert Time Again
Ive done this before by melting the tabs to pull the insert out and melting them back in place after re-inserting the panel. this was a pain and didnt work super well. do any of you have a different method?

I tried to melt my tabs and it didn't work at all.
Since you have already cut and melted the tabs once your best bet is to try and save as much material here as possible. I always wanted to try some hot glue or liquid nails or something similar, but I ditched my car before trying it again lol.

I took the dremel cut off wheel to them. I cut off half of the "circle" that it's been flattened into. Doing this creates a hook for the pannel to snap back into on re-install. I also use screws and fender washers to put the arm rest back on. I wish I had taken pics of the ones I did for reference. Hope this helps.
