Default Roger's Superhawk Serial # - Questions

For guys who KNOW they have one of Roger's EARLY superhawks: Where is the serial # and how was it put on? A picture would be perfect. I don't need to see the whole #, put tape over half if you want.

I used to work in composites and we etched our serial #s with an engraver. It would still be visible underneath overspray and light primer/sanding/paint. I assume Roger would use the same method and and someone wouldn't be able to "accidently" cover it up. If someone did destroy the serial # - do you know of any little areas underneath that would make it identifiable vs knockoffs?

I've never seen a serial number on mine. I got mine in 2007.

Thanks. I read somewhere about a serial #, but didn't know if it was true or not. Never seems to come up in forsale ads.
