Default Front LEDs 97Z28

My turn/marker lights are out and I'm going to replace them with LEDs. From what I have read,I just need to get some 3157 led bulbs and the EL12? Are there one or two required? The side 194 can be anything since they don't flash. Sound right? Which version of the 3157 are you running? There are a lot of options. They will be going in the stock amber housings. Not planning on running LEDs in the rear. Thanks

LEDs in that location are a little problematic. The turn signals also double as daytime running lights, which every 3157 LED bulb I've looked at says is not supposed to be used as a DRL due to overheating. The side marker bulbs are regular 194 bulbs and you can replace them with LEDs, which I did, and they're actually not as bright as the standard bulbs they replaced. Something about that housing just doesn't work well with LEDs, so I put the regular 194s back in.

Definitely do the DRL delete if you want 3157 LEDs. I currently have switchbacks and they ran fine for about 2 days, but then the driver side began to have problems. So, until I can get around to doing the DRL delete I'm having to barely lift the e-brake and leave it so that my DRL circuit won't run. Doing this also allows me to turn my lights on to the middle position (running lights?) which makes my switchbacks light up as the 6000k white setting without any issues.
IIRC somewhere on here somebody explained why the DRL circuit is not LED friendly where as the "running/head lights on" circuit is good to go with an LED style bulb

Hmmm, interesting.I talked to them and they told me the only bulbs they had that were DRL compatible was the 3156,which is a single filament. I need 3157.
