Default Wheel detailing & kit replacement

Just out of curiosity what is the easiest/best way to remove brake dust from wheels? I've done it twice now (had the car about two months) and it takes me about half an hour per wheel by scrubbing.
Also I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I can find a replacement piece to a RS effect kit. I had a piece of it fall off on the highway recently and would like to replace it some time soon.
Thanks in advance.

Dont know about the GFX replacement, but i used Simple Green to remove the brake dust off my Silverado's Cragers. Also used it on my dads vette, and moms Trailblazer, works great.

on chrome wheels some 000 steel wool will work, even 00 will.

A clay bar also works....
