Checklist before I buy?
Finally decided to jump into it, I've always enjoyed detailing cars for an odd reason. Weather it be mine or friends/family I would always love to help, and save them from a overpriced crap job somewhere else.
Now i'm been reading up on the detailing a LOT these past few months, trying different products, changing up how I do my routines, using valid tips, so on and so fourth. I'm about to spend the $$$ on a decent PC for myself and need to know If this sounds about right to get started, or If I should add/remove certain things.
List As Follows (Stuff in Orange was recently added, thanks for the help gentlemen!)
- Porter Cable 7424XP
- Meguiars Mirror Glaze #205
- Meguiars Mirror Glaze #105
- Black Finishing Flat 5.5 inch Foam Pad (x2)
- Orange Light Cutting Flat 5.5 inch Foam Pad (x2)
- Blackfire Wet Diamond AFPP/Sealant (16oz)
- Cobra MF Towel combo
- Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay + lubricant
- White Low Profile Polishing 5.5 inch Foam Pad (x2)
Any advice is rly appreciated, thanks!

As far as paint correction you're actually better stocked than me and I detail on the side for money haha. PC was a good choice man the flex is great but not worth the money unless you're really really serious.
Here is my gift to you. Great guy, great detailer, once you watch one video you won't want to stop till you have watched them all. http://www.youtube.com/user/Junkman2000
He has some goofy videos but watch his detailing stuff.
He is a big promoter of adam's polishes stuff...i've never used any of it because for the work I do it's easier to pick up meg's stuff locally but he looks to get good results with it.

Good info ty
Haha thanks, ill start watching a few vids now. I'm already piled with info iv'e been reading and good knowledge. But from my experience to much of one thing is no good :p
Iv'e tried a lot of Adams stuff, but only really liked a select few things. In the end I prefer meg's as well.
Awesome thanks, ill stop by wal-greens tonight and see if they have any. Maybe find a good mist bottle or recycle one in the garage after a good washing.
Thanks again everyone for all the good information, really appreciate it!
