Default sunset orange brake calipers

Well I normally wouldn't post a thread on such a small thing but there isn't really any good pictures from the ones that did it so I thought I would share my own. I never showed my z28 on here and have been waiting to get some more mods done to my ss to be worthy of posting up details. Anyway here they are. Painted the calipers Som and painted he brackets gunmetal to go with the wheel spokes.

I feel you. I felt the same way, that's why I went with Dubli-Color for 20 bucks. I asked cause I thought G2 only made the custom SOM color. Looks good.

Those look badass. Can you PM me the site too for the touch-up paint? My calipers and brackets are black right now, but would't mind painting my brackets pewter to match the color of my car.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad everyone likes it. It stands out but is subtle at the same time to me.

How well does the paint stand up to heat, and could I get it in a color to match my paint? Would be interested in checking it out myself as well.

It seems to be fine. I just used high temp clear. They specialize in making factory colors for touch up paint work.

No it is regular automotive paint. I was hesitant to do it but after some research it seemed that hi temp primer before and high temp clear was the way to go.

I painted and cleared my calipers almost 7 years/50k miles ago and it holds up to the heat. The primer, base, and clear are not heat treated. If you decide to go this route, also get touchup paint because if you tap the calipers with a tool, the paint will chip.
