yes they will but only with the right offset or spacers. a 17x11 will fit with a little grind on the spindal arm. If I remeber right a 17x11 with 50mm offset and a spacer will fit.
Hell just call HRE or Fiske and ask the specs! You my need a custom wheel made if you arn't using spacers! I have 17x10 front and 17x11 back. The front has ARP 2.5" bolts and a 3/4" spacer. I used the 3/4" spacer b/c I like the look.
But I think the Firebird fenders are 5mm bigger than a camaro!

One of the LS1 boards has a member that did this.
I know it doesn't help much, but it might make you feel better that it can be done.
What I remember is that he used 4 18x10.5 Z06 rims and matching tires all around. I think the front and rear needed different offsets, I wish I could remember what the offsets were, I would like to do this myself.
His post had pics and details, he showed all the tight spots and claimed if you used the offsets he did, there was no interference or mods as far as the body/suspension goes.
It was a Z and it looked great!
Good luck
Post what you find out,
Dave
