Default blacked out refletors

has anyone blacked out there own reflectors? i kind of want to black out mine (not have to drop money for new ones)but i can't find any how to's. only person i found on here saying they did it hasn't had activity on here since 2005. any help would be great.

Are you talking about the side markers like these?


I sanded the raised number/letters of them first i liked them smooth
