I just picked up a set of c6 chrome wheels for my camaro. One of the wheels has some scratches on it that are semi deep. I know paint can be sanded and then polished out, is that the case with wheels? Can't post pictures at the moment but can later if people need to see. Looks like with some determination it can be cleaned up and not be as obvious.

If the wheels are chrome plated, there is no way to fix anything major on the finish (whether it is pitting or deep scratches or lifting) besides having them re-chromed

My wheels had alittle abuse and I cleaned them up and plasti dipped them. Was very easy and its removeable, and can be touched up easily.
