Hardtop cover
I would have posted this in the convertible section, but there's so little traffic there... I've been searching around, but haven't had any luck; is there any sort of hardtop cover for f-body convertibles? If there isn't (which is what I've been led to believe), what's stopping me from hacking off a hardtop roof of a wrecked hardtop f-body, welding on convertible latches, and using that (of course some work would have to be done with the rear latch system and window)? Please excuse me if my imagination is too unrealistic. Thanks, all!

So you want a removable hardtop like the old T-birds had?
I don't see the huge gain over a softtop or even T-Tops really. They are hard and very solid when in, then take them out and enjoy the open roof. i know it's not the same as no roof (I personally am not a huge fan of convertibles. I need some sort of support over me) But it gets close when you are cruising and don't look up.
I just think your goals are close to impossible
