'95 Z28 - Wheels, lowered, SS spoiler, berger, emblems and more
I got this car in back in '08 looking like a POS, but it actually was a very well maintained 50k mile car with T-Tops and leather. It's not like you can choose from a lot of f-bodies in Iceland either (surprise!), with LS cars out of my price range too. Well, back then at least.
Crappy phone pics in the rain don't really help, but I bought it looking like this.
Since then I haven't focused entirely on appearance, but I've done some stuff to it to make it look better.
-Front bumper cover painted with black headlight buckets
-Black housing turn signals
-Satin black berger panel
-Stainless Camaro inserts
-Custom EmblemPros Z28 emblems
-3.5" corsa clones
-Brake calipers painted black with silver Camaro vinyl letters
-18x9.5 and 18x10.5 OE Wheels Deep Dish black/machined lip
-275/35/18 and 315/30/18 tires
-SS spoiler from thespoilercompany
-Shorty antenna
-5% hatch tint
-Lowered with lots of suspension goodies
Future list includes: SS hood, export tails with !amber, 20% side window tint and maybe 5000K BLS hi/lo HID's.
I'm also dying to see how the 6LE splitter would look on it...
So I'm far from done with this thing, but tell me what you think.
Like most of us, I have a thing for 315's.
Cleaned up the interior, which actually was in damn near mint condition.
I've been looking at custom floor mats with the Z28 logo. Black floor mats / black headliner / black sun visors, that's the plan.
Maybe dark grey or charcoal rather than black, you get the point.
I never take decent pictures of the engine bay, don't know why. Lots of stuff planned here.

Looks amazing now! that SS spoiler, wheels, and stance really compliment the car! Cheers!

Thanks guys. It's nice to get compliments from people with nice cars.
Thanks! Those were stickers actually and yes, they looked awful. I peeled them off immediately. They weren't even put on right.
Thanks man! I love how the berger panel came out.
No, I'm not running any adapters or spacers. The rear wheels have a 56mm offset and aren't 100% flush, although they are close to it. The Toyo R888's run WIDE and have a slight bulge, which in turn makes them flush. I've never bothered to measure what size adapter or spacer I'd need to make the wheels flush because it would obviously make the tires stick out. We don't like that.
To be honest, I don't have the ***** to spend money on a splitter, pay a LOT for shipping and a 50% customs charge on top of that, only to end up with something I might not like and would most likely not be able to sell to anyone here.
If I did buy one, I'd modify the slots like Crimson did to have it sit back a little further and be a little less obvious. I'd also try running three small spacers (not the longer T/A ones). If you look at the underside of the 93-97 bumper, I think it could pull off a splitter with spacers. The pointy splitter also matches the pointy front end. It would never look right with the stock Z28 hood though. An SS hood? Could look bad ***.
There's actually a hyperlink in the parts list I included, but here's the thread.

Surprisingly, the 315's fit VERY well. I never did the BFH mod. I plan on rolling the fenders though.

No worries, like I said, I can't justify the cost of a splitter. It's weird how I want one, yet I usually find them to look out of place on Camaros. The door handles are definitely staying black. I really love that look.

A splitter would look really good, but one that integrated into the design of the bumper and not just a flat ABS piece attached to the underside, thats what kills the 6LE splitters imo. When I say integrated, I mean something like the Zo6 and 2013 Camaro 1LE splitters. Both are small and go perfectly with the design of the bumper.
