Wash wheels first
Use a foam gun I have this one https://www.detailedimage.com/Gilmou...allon-Tank-S1/
Followed up with a two bucket method working from top to bottom
Rinse car off thoroughly and use flooding method to minimize water left over
Then dry car off with a leaf blower
Definitely keep wipedowns to a minimum and the less contact with paint the better

Invest in some waffle weave drying towels. Also don't go scrubbing while drying. That will induce swirls. A detail spray makes for a nice drying aid as well. Simply sheet the water off with low pressure and spray each panel as you dry. Two towels work great for this. Then you can follow up with a final wipedown with a quality microfiber towel and detail spray or spray wax.

MikeWS6, your car looks good. I also have a black car. I use chemical guys microfiber wash cleaning detergent for cleaning my towels. I watched a lot of Junkman 2000 videos on you tube for detailing tips besides the ton of info on this site.
