NRG seats on Planted bases??
Has anyone on here ever put NRG recliner seats on a Planted 4th gen seat base??
If so, did it require drilling any more holes in the base, or was it a total bolt on deal?
I know that NRG offers their own bases for our cars, but I am SURE they are made in China/Taiwan (and yes, I know that's where their seats are screwed together as well), and I wonder about their strength as compared to the Planteds which ARE made in Utah.
Especially since NRG claims they are stainless steel (I have no idea of the grade of stainless, i.e.; 304/409/etc.), which might be a little too 'brittle' for this app, but would be great since it would never rust if at least 409 grade, painted stainless.
