5 point harness with stock seats
Hey I was wondering if anyone has used this:
http://www.hawksmotorsports.com/guid...yle-seatbelts/
to run harnesses on stock camaro seats.
They look pretty cool I think, just not sure if its worth the $75 with shipping, or If i should save that money to buy an actual racing seat.

The issue is with cutting the leather on your seats to install them. I have seen this done in the past (not this brand, but similar). It looks great for awhile, but, after some time the cover around it starts getting loose and looks like crap. Also, if you drive your car frequently, the constant rubbing back and forth and pressure applied by the seatbelts being in use will start making the harness adapters fit loosely inside the hole you cut.
Personal opinion: if you want 5 point harnesses, save up for a seat designed to use them.

Buy an actual seat. A harness will only go so far. Also think about the sub belt. You cutting a hole in the bottom of your seat too?
Buy a seat that has all the holes available for a 5 pt harness that will actually hug your sides. Stock camaro seats are like sitting on a park bench.
