Default Car show at the next LS1Tech race

Go to www.kyfbodies.org for more information. Our club Ky F-Bodies Unlimited will be hosting a car show for those of you who do not race, but love to show off your cars in other ways. We will most likely have several classes. I might also ask for a C6 Corvette for display at the race, but I don't know yet if that's possible.

Best F-Body

Best Corvette

GTO Best 2003 and up GTO

Overall
Best Interior
Best Paint
Best Engine Compartment
Best Stereo
King of the Hill (Overall Show Winner)

We will not have trophies for all classes. We do not have this finalized, but I wanted to get some interest to see if these classes will work for you guys to bring out the beauties.

Brian Hogan fron Total Engine Airflow is the POC for this site.

I am currently working out all of the details. I will post a judges score sheet here soon so that entrants will be able to see before hand what the judges are looking for.

Hey Todd, did you do this for me??? Let me know if you have any questions, you know I am all about the bling... By the way, is judging going to be by ballot participant judging, or is there actually going to be judges? Maybe avoid some of the pitfalls of judging from like the Trans am Nationals where they have 18 year old's judging cars that know nothing about them...

There will be knowledgable judges and there will also be a people's choice award.

I will be posting a copy of the judges score sheet soon.

Here's a link to the judge's score sheet that we plan on using. I will be contacting knowledgeable people about judging the show.

http://www.villier.net/kyfbody/Carshowjudgesheet.doc

The plans, as of now, are to divide into the different classes that are noted above.

I am working on a 5 foot tropy for the judge's or people's choice award and then some other sort of trophy for the other classes. Probably something similar to what they handed out at the Indy event.

The charge ($25.00) for show entry includes:

1 Car entry into the show
1 Owner of the entered auto to the show and his/her spectator's fee to the show and racing.

Additional guests will have to pay a spectator's fee that I'm not sure has been determined yet.

I will have a pre-registration sheet posted with info on what to do to pre-register. Money will be taken at the gate for show entrants.

This information is subject to change and I will post updates here as they become available.

I just noticed that the date or what event isn't listed anywhere here.

The event is taking place on August 21st at Beech Bend in Bowling Green, KY.
This coincides with the LS1Tech race that is also happening that day.

I think that race has been cancelled. The thunder shootout is the next race.
