Default unpainted fiberglass hood

Recently got some hail damage and i am looking at buying the ws9 hood from us exotics cause it's $500 which is the same as my insurance deductible. I also wouldn't have to worry about hail denting it and it looks awesome. My question is, since i have a black car could i get away with not painting it for a while? I am not going for the ricer black hood look but i thought maybe the gelcoat would match the paint close enough that it wouldn't be too noticable.

I think on a black car the hood would be noticable, maybe not a night. Most people would say don't drive around with a unpainted hood because it is a ricer look. But It is up to you to do what you want. I was lucky to get my OEM SS Hood and have it painted and put on at the same time.

Dude, if you can't afford to paint it now, don't worry. It's not like you're going to get thrown in jail by the "ricer" police.
