Default Painting Behind Stull Grille

I've noticed that a lot of people who put the stull grille on paint behind it with a black paint. Are you guys using a flat black or a satin?? The black grille just doesn't look right with the silver of the car showing through behind it.

They usually use flat black. Gloss will show through more prominent than flat. I needa paint behind mine on my black car b/c it's too glossy and shows through.

LOL electrical tape. Never thought of that. I used SEMS (brand) Satin Black on my Pewter car.
