Painting behind grille

Get some 400 grit sandpaper, some masking tape, automotive primer and flat black or gloss-whichever you prefer. Clean the area thoroughly, let it dry, and then lightly sand it with the sandpaper, to rough it up and make the primer adhere to it. Mask off the area you want painted, so you don't get overspray all over your beautiful paint job. Once you spray the primer on, let it dry, and lightly sand over it with 800 grit sandpaper. Once it is nice and smooth, you can spray it with the flat black. Just make sure you make slow, short even passes with the rattle can, so as to not get any runs.
