So after searching my car and ls1tech for months, I finally found what was cuasing the annoying buzzing and rattle inside my Camaro. There exists a slit in the carpet under the drivers seat through which the power cord for the power seat is passed. A small fortune in change had left my pockets over time and managed to slide its way through the seat and into that slit in the carpet. The change accumulated between the carpet and the floorboard between the front and rear seat. Anyway, hope this helps someone else out there who can't figure out where that blasted noise is coming from.
