Default Arrowhead emblem on TA

Has anyone else put an "Arrowhead" emblem from a 04 GTO front bumper on their Trans Am?

I've seen an arrowhead added to the little black triangular plastic piece at the back of the doors (next to the door glass). I thought it looked pretty cool....

I had the same idea. The only thing is that the GTO arrowhead has 2 0r three tabs that stick out of the back of the arrowhead. You have to get a arrowhead and then ground down the tabs so it will set flush on the car. The GTO's have pre drilled holes in the trunk for this reason. I am still going to install one on mine when I get done with the body work. May take a while. O and I was trying to use the one off the rear bumper. It is smaller and fits the area on the front of the Trans am better.

Haven't heard of anyone doing a GTO pontiac arrowhead on the T/A, but I have seen them with the Pontiac arrow on the front of the nose right under the nostrils. It's the same arrow they put on the Sunfire. I've seen them somewhere on-line, but a dealer should have them.

werd I checked into that when the GTO's first came out and found the samething. I also found that the arrowhead on the bumper is curved and it wouldn't fit flush. I wanted the one on the truck because it wasn't as big. Im still getting one too and Ill just make it work.

Default GTO Arrowhead

Well, the GTO "arrowhead" does have 2 pegs sticking out of it, but with a little pressure from your thumb they'll pop right off, and it fits "PERFECTLY" flush. And looks freakin' awesome. I'll post pics as soon as I get some.

that looks really good. For the front bumper did you use the front bumper emblem on the GTO? I was worried about it being too big but it fit really well there.

Default GTO emblem

It is an emblem from a GTO front bumper, it's the same size as the old Grand Am emblem I had on there, about 3 inches. These are not Photo-chops, the CETA-bumper pic is, but the others are not. I'm a freelance illustrator and i've been using Photoshop for at least 10 years. It's the only program I use for my work. I took the pictures with a digital camera and cropped them with Photoshop, hence the .psd in the filename. I'm contemplating whether or not to do the CETA bumper, that's the reason for that pic.

Those arrowhead emblems look like they should of came on the car direct from the factory. I had one on my old TransAm like Bloodta's car the same one that came on the Grand Ams.
