Default painting billet grill to match silver car?

Anybody painted thier billet grille on a silver car? I was thinking about painting it silver to match the car. How do you think it would look? Would the paint hold up to all the bugs and crap on the front end or should I get it powdercoated? Thanks.

personally I think your grille looks good now as it is. the only that i would change is that I would paint behind it black to make the grille stand out more.

well the reason I was thinking about painting it was because some of the black paint on the inside part of the grille is starting to chip off.

I've been meaning to paint behind it just haven't gotten to it yet.

O. ok. I've got the same problem with my grille now. The way I'm solving it is that I am just getting a new stull billet grille. I used some black touch paint on the parts that were chipped off and it looks horrible!

yeah I figured it wouldn't look good trying to touch it up thats why I thought about painting the whole thing or getting it powdercoated. What ya think?

Paint the whole thing flat black. Paint the area on the bumper just behind it while you're at it.
