Default crack in this spoiler...

How bad would you guys consider this crack? How easily can it be fixed?

I've had the spoiler in my closet for like a year, I took it out today becuase I'm thinking about sellin it, and I find this crack in it. The crack isn't deep at all.

Figured I'd ask you guys since I know little to nothing about bodywork.

It's hard to say. Is the actual fiberglass cracked or just the paint? Obviously if it's just the paint it's easy, but if it's the 'glass, you might want to take it to a paint shop and have them give you an estimate.

That looks like fiberglass damage, but what happened to it in the closet that it cracked? That's not your normal everyday tear, if it was literally just in the closet and nothing to damage it and it still cracked like that, I personally would go after the maker for giving me a defective spoiler...

Yeah, that is a good idea too, but it would be hard to prove that it just cracked while it was sitting in the closet.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's a Freedom Design Brickyard spoiler, which is made from urethane....and this isn't the first time I've seen a report of one of them cracking or having some other material defect.

Which is too bad, because I think it looks neat in a 1970's kind of way....and agressive as hell, too.
